Speech-Language Pathologist - Director of Rehabilitation

Location: Potosi, MO

Start Date: 04-20-2026

End Date: 07-20-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts; start between 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM (end between 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and provide clear direction to the rehabilitation team including PT, OT, ST, PTA, and COTA
Serve as an assessing therapist with a lighter caseload while assuming Director of Rehabilitation responsibilities
Oversee PDPM processes to ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance
Develop and enhance rehabilitation programs tailored for high-acuity patients
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor and analyze clinical and financial performance metrics and act on findings
Ensure facility adherence to federal, state, and facility regulations
Attend morning and facility meetings and manage the therapy schedule

Qualifications

Active Missouri state license (Compact allowed)
Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience (required)
Experience in a leadership role within a SNF or long-term care rehabilitation setting (required)
Knowledge of PDPM and its clinical application (required)
New graduates are not accepted for this position

Knowledge & Skills

Leadership and team oversight across PT/OT/ST/PTA/COTA
PDPM processes and regulatory compliance
Rehabilitation program development for high-acuity patients
Interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication
Clinical and financial performance monitoring and reporting
Scheduling and workflow coordination
