Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound scans including OB/GYN, abdomen, and small parts studies
- Conduct vascular studies such as carotid arteries, DVT, and renal arteries
- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation using McKesson, Cerner, and VRAD systems
Qualifications
- Current ARDMS certification required
- BLS certification required
- RVT certification preferred
- Experience in ultrasound imaging with vascular and OB/GYN studies
- Ability to work rotating weekends and take 1-2 nights of call per week
Education
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Current ARDMS certification in relevant specialties
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with GE L8 and L9 ultrasound equipment
- Strong knowledge of McKesson, Cerner, and VRAD systems
- Skilled in performing 10+ ultrasound studies per day
- Comfortable rotating between inpatient and outpatient settings
