Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients in a psychiatric setting
Support treatment plans and monitor patient progress
Collaborate with nurses and physicians to deliver excellent care
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety
Assist with therapeutic activities and daily living support

Qualifications

Current California LPT license required
Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations

Education

Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Technician program
Active California LPT license

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Therapeutic communication techniques
Crisis intervention basics
Electronic health record documentation
Team collaboration in fast-paced environments
