Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for cardiac procedures including CABG, TAVR, and valve replacements
Assist surgeons during minimally invasive and open cardiac surgeries
Maintain sterile field and ensure all surgical instruments are properly organized
Collaborate with the CVOR team to deliver exceptional patient care
Respond to call requirements and support the team during emergencies

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
At least 2 years of cardiac operating room experience
Epic EMR experience preferred
Ability to respond to 30-minute call requirements
COVID vaccine required

Education

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Current BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac surgical procedures
Excellent sterile technique and instrument knowledge
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced OR environment
Team collaboration and communication skills
Flexibility to float within the Main OR as needed
