Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth transitions and optimal outcomes
- Administer medications and interventions to promote swift recovery
- Educate patients and families on post-op care for confident discharges
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- PACU experience preferred to hit the ground running
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical skills in a fast-paced recovery environment
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in post-anesthesia patient monitoring
- Proficiency with recovery room protocols and equipment
- Excellent communication for teamwork and patient reassurance
- Ability to thrive in high-acuity, variable shift scenarios
