Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients with medical and behavioral health needs
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry alerts
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and security to ensure patient safety
- Perform sterile procedures including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
- Float to ED psych holds and MedSurg floors as needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- MedSurg/Telemetry experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- Psychiatric nursing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs Lab skills assessment

Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Understanding of behavioral health considerations in medical settings
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to maintain sterile field during procedures
