Roles & Responsibilities
- Help patients regain independence through meaningful daily activities
- Create personalized treatment plans that make a real difference
- Collaborate with a supportive rehab team to deliver exceptional care
- Document progress and adjust interventions to maximize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies for home and community
Qualifications
- Current California Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- Open to first-time travelers
Education
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptability to meet diverse patient needs
