Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, variable days with weekend and call requirements

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound exams
Conduct image-guided procedures including drains and biopsies
Collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic results
Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety during every scan
Document findings clearly in Fuji EPIC PACS system

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN)
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
BLS certification required
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound
Procedure experience is a must

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Comfortable performing 8-10+ scans per day
Familiar with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS
Able to work independently with radiologist support
Flexible with variable days and call rotation
