Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry support
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to deliver excellent outcomes
Maintain sterile field techniques during all procedures
Educate patients and families on recovery plans after cranial and spine surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry experience within the past 6 months
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Strong sterile technique knowledge for day-one orientation

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation and centralized telemetry monitoring
Neuro post-op and stroke recovery protocols
Sterile field maintenance
Patient education and family communication
Collaborative care with hospitalists and respiratory therapy
