Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor vital signs and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with PT/OT, case managers, and social workers to support holistic patient recovery
Float to similar units while maintaining excellent care standards
Build trusting relationships with patients and families during challenging times

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
Open to first-time travelers who meet requirements
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Teamwork and adaptability across mixed-acuity units
