Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and clinical expertise
Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse duties arise
Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic EMR system
Support orientation of new staff and contribute to a positive unit culture

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR nursing experience with demonstrated trauma and neuro skills
Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required
Epic EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of trauma and neuro surgical procedures
Ability to function calmly under pressure in high-acuity cases
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with 30-minute call response time
Flexible and willing to float within Zone 1 when needed
