Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons in the operating room with precision and care across CVOR, total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile fields to ensure patient safety during every case
Collaborate with the OR team to deliver exceptional surgical outcomes
Handle a variety of cases including CABG, valve replacements, pacers, lead extractions, lung procedures, ortho, neuro, ENT, and trauma
Support the surgical team with equipment, instruments, and supplies throughout each procedure

Qualifications

Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system
Ability to take 1-2 weeknight calls per week and approximately one weekend call per month
Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment with diverse case types

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR and main OR procedures
Familiarity with Phillips Telemetry monitoring
Strong sterile technique and surgical instrumentation knowledge
Ability to adapt to various surgical specialties and case complexities
