Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, ICU, Telemetry, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-surgical ortho and total joint cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility outcomes
Evaluate and treat a wide variety of patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR to ensure seamless care coordination

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple specialties
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
ICU and ventilated patient treatment experience
Cerner EMR documentation proficiency
Ability to adapt to varied patient populations including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology
