Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support staffing needs and deliver excellent patient outcomes
Monitor and manage patients on heparin drips while maintaining safety standards
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
Adapt quickly to various units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Ortho, and Trauma
Support patients through post-surgical recovery, medical management, and stable long-term placements

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to different facilities and units

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical patients
Comfort with floating to multiple units and adjusting to varying patient acuities
Experience with drip titration including heparin
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and fill scheduling gaps as needed
