Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 06-06-2026

End Date: 09-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care to 12+ patients daily across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER units
Help patients recover from TKA, THA, spinal surgery, CVA, and general orthopedic conditions
Develop personalized treatment plans that restore mobility and independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document progress and adjust interventions to support each patient's unique journey

Qualifications

Current California PT license required
BLS certification needed
Acute Inpatient PT experience essential
Comfortable working across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER settings

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
Experience with general medical, deconditioned, and post-surgical patients
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly across different hospital units
