Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse Med Surg Telemetry patient population
Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Precept and mentor nursing students, helping shape the next generation of caregivers
Float to Multi Care Unit, Pediatrics, and West Campus as needed, expanding your clinical skills
Manage stable CPAP and BiPAP patients while monitoring for any changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience, telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Comfort managing medical-surgical and progressive care patients
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float across units and adapt to changing patient needs
