Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplant procedures
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while maintaining patient safety
Administer non-titrating drips and manage CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including RT, pharmacy, and IV specialists
Float to other telemetry units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs Lab skills assessment

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation
Cardiac stepdown protocols
Sterile field maintenance
Patient education and advocacy
Team collaboration across multiple units
