End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate all surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general cases
Support complex procedures such as CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic surgeries
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure smooth case flow
Precept new staff and share your expertise when needed
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient care
Respond to call cases with a 30-minute response time

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital OR experience
Strong robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems
Proven ability to circulate CABGs and craniotomies
Comfortable precepting and floating between campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general surgeries
Robotics experience with Mako (Ortho) and DaVinci (General, Urology, CV)
Ability to handle trauma, total joints, and complex open cases
Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced OR
Flexibility to float and take call as needed
