Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and general surgery
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a 7-suite OR with 2 Endo suites serving patients of all ages
Support robotic-assisted procedures using the DaVinci system
Float to pre/post op, PACU, or ER for trauma cases when needed
Maintain the highest safety standards while educating and mentoring fellow team members
Adapt to varied daily surgical schedules with flexibility and professionalism

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in neurosurgery and proficiency across all surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a facility without specialized teams for each specialty
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Willingness to comply with strict no-artificial-nails policy in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of OR procedures across multiple specialties
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with DaVinci robotic systems
Ability to pass skills-based open-book exam with 90% or higher
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
