Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with weekend requirements based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients including those with CHF, diabetes, and post-surgical needs
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips to ensure patient safety
Administer and titrate drips including Heparin and Cardizem within approved limits
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Support patients and families through end-of-life and palliative care journeys
Float to other units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing fundamentals
Patient assessment and care planning
Drip titration for Heparin and Cardizem
Isolation precautions and infection control
Electronic health record documentation
