Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care during overnight hours
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Respond quickly and professionally to changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and handoffs

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license valid in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Comfortable working independently overnight and making sound clinical decisions
• Strong communication skills for seamless handoffs and teamwork
• Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and patient-centered focus

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and bedside clinical care
• Knowledgeable in medication administration and IV management
• Proficient with electronic health record documentation
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization during busy overnight shifts
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
