Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Respond promptly to patient changes and escalate concerns when needed
• Support smooth handoffs and clear communication at shift change

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — ability to practice in the state of assignment is required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or PALS as required by unit
• Per-diem or acute care experience preferred, night shift experience a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and collaborate with team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring in acute care settings
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate charting
• Infection control best practices and safe patient handling
• Prioritization and triage skills during high-acuity situations
