Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Perform vital signs, weight checks, and routine observations accurately
• Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document nursing care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing direct patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach to care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient safety principles and infection control practices
• Skill in taking accurate vital signs and observing clinical changes
• Familiarity with charting/documentation and unit workflows
• Ability to assist with ADLs, mobility, and safe patient handling
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective interpersonal skills
