Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and document vital signs accurately and promptly
Support nursing staff by reporting changes in patient condition and participating in care plans
Maintain a safe, clean environment to promote patient comfort and infection control
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning while using proper body mechanics
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families and the care team
Complete timely and accurate documentation in the patient chart

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or able to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by the facility
Reliable attendance and the ability to work overnight shifts as assigned
Strong communication and patient observation skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
Clear, professional communication and teamwork
Basic charting and documentation skills
