Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and advanced therapies
Collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and RTs for 24/7 patient management
Perform sterile procedures including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Educate and support families during their NICU journey
Float to mother-baby and labor care as needed for baby care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Cardiac STABLE certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience
Previous travel experience preferred
Must live 50+ miles from Phoenix (proof via driver's license)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Level 4 NICU care including premature, cardiac, genetic, and surgical neonates
Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong understanding of sterile field and infection control
Ability to perform SIMs Lab skills: Foley insertion, central line dressing changes
Experience with Phillips telemetry
Team player with excellent communication skills
