Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing
- Provide comprehensive care to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
- Monitor fetal and maternal status using bedside fetal monitors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and standards of nursing practice
Qualifications
- Active Alaska RN license required
- Minimum 2 years recent LDRP experience
- BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
- HS AED certification required
- Willingness to complete medication testing within first two weeks
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Meditech and OBIX systems
- Skilled in using Pyxis Supply Stations and bedside fetal monitors
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
