Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and post-surgical cases
- Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Interpret and document telemetry strips accurately using GE monitors
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
- Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining safe patient ratios
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Valid driver's license for radius verification
- Comfortable with open-book orientation exam (90% pass rate required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in managing ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Skilled in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
- Experienced with titrating multiple IV drips simultaneously
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization in high-acuity settings
- Effective communicator and team player in a fast-paced environment
