Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (EOW)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients in a combined L&D/PP/Mother Baby unit
- Independently manage Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips while monitoring fetal and maternal status
- Rotate between labor support, postpartum recovery, and routine/intermediate nursery care
- Collaborate with a small, tight-knit team where every nurse is equally depended on
- Serve as a charge nurse and backup for colleagues, ensuring safe and efficient unit operations
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license or ability to obtain an Oregon 90-Day Emergency License
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Experience in L&D, postpartum, and routine/intermediate nursery care
- Strong independence and ability to handle both busy and slow periods with flexibility
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in fetal monitoring using the FE Centricity Perinatal system
- Proficiency in titrating oxytocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
- Comfort with stabilizing and transferring vented neonates (Bubble CPAP experience a plus)
- Ability to float and serve as a 'helping hand' in other units as needed
