Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition overnight, using strong clinical judgment to prioritize care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following hospital protocols
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers with attention to detail and patient comfort
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth shift handoffs
• Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record to support continuity and quality
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient status calmly and efficiently

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state requirements apply) and ability to obtain any required state privileges
• Minimum 2+ years of recent clinical nursing experience (per job posting)
• Current BLS certification required; specialty certifications encouraged where applicable
• Comfort working independently during overnight shifts with strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements, background check and health screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - acceptable entry-level degrees

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication with patients, families and care teams
• Time management and prioritization during busy overnight periods
• Basic familiarity with common inpatient procedures and protocols
