Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate cardiac, nephrology, and stroke care to adult and geriatric patients
Manage diabetes care and perform continuous EEG monitoring with precision
Titrate critical drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain safe 1:4-5 ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while providing exceptional care
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in our fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of progressive care experience preferred
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside the 50-mile radius and not be employed by CommonSpirit facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac care expertise and drip titration proficiency
Nephrology and stroke patient management
Diabetes management and continuous EEG monitoring
Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
Positive attitude with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
