Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible scheduling - pick up shifts as needed, including days, nights, and weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions for children with various medical conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Current RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
PALS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of pediatric Med/Surg experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in pediatric assessment and care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in electronic medical records
Compassionate and patient-focused approach
