Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0630-1830 and 1830-0630, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical ICU setting
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and hemodynamic parameters
Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including attendings, residents, and students
Manage patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, and more
Participate in rapid response teams and codes as needed
Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU

Qualifications

2 years of recent ICU experience required
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms
Driver's license required for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Ability to ask questions and collaborate in a team environment
Proficient in titrating drips and managing complex ICU patients
Comfortable with technology including Draeger heart monitoring and EV-1000
