Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients using the nursing process to identify needs and prioritize care
• Develop individualized plans of care and implement evidence-based interventions
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans to achieve the best outcomes
• Provide compassionate patient education and support to patients and families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate seamless care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Cerner
• Serve as a trusted bedside clinician for a diverse pediatric-to-geriatric patient population

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
• ICU experience strongly preferred — travelers with ICU background receive first consideration
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Education

• BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong command of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation
• Skilled in patient assessment and clinical judgment across the pediatric to geriatric spectrum
• Proficient in care planning, executing interventions, and tracking patient progress
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records highly preferred
• Ability to educate patients and families with clarity and compassion
• Comfort working in a med-surg environment with typical RN-to-patient ratios of 1:4–1:6
