Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiologic procedures following prescribed techniques and safety protocols
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment, position patients, and prepare contrast material as needed
• Adjust imaging equipment settings such as voltage, current and exposure time for optimal images
• Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance of x-ray and CT equipment
• Complete quality control tasks and maintain quality control documentation for performed procedures
• Assist with scheduling, answering calls, and general front-office patient coordination when necessary
• Respond to call assignments and provide reliable coverage when scheduled
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiologic technologist training in an AMA-approved program
• ARRT registered (required)
• CT certification (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 6 months' experience in Computerized Tomography
• MRI experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area

• Computerized Tomography imaging and CT protocols
• Radiologic technology principles and radiation protection
• Patient positioning and contrast material preparation
• Quality control procedures and equipment maintenance
• Diagnostic testing and image evaluation basics
• Scheduling and patient communication skills
• Familiarity with safety and infection control practices
