Registered Nurse - Long Term Care
Location: Garrison, North Dakota
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holidays
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to long-term care residents
- Administer medications accurately and safely
- Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
- Serve as charge nurse, overseeing daily unit operations and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
- Document patient assessments and interventions in Matrix EMR
Qualifications
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
- BLS certification required at time of start
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in medication administration and wound care
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead and direct nursing staff as charge nurse
- Comfortable using Matrix electronic medical records system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
