Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse for a 26-bed long-term care facility
Administer medications accurately and on time
Provide skilled wound care to residents
Monitor residents with chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT and social worker
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1-2 years of long-term care experience preferred
Ability to pass meds and perform wound care independently
Strong communication and leadership skills

Knowledge & Skills

Charge nurse experience
Medication administration and reconciliation
Wound care assessment and treatment
Knowledge of LTC regulations and documentation
EMR proficiency (Matrix system preferred)
Compassionate care for elderly and chronically ill patients
