Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 36 hours/week, rotating 12-hour shifts, days/nights, every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients
Manage labor, triage, and emergency situations with confidence
Administer and monitor common drips such as Pitocin, insulin, and antibiotics
Collaborate with a supportive team including charge nurses and physicians
Educate and support new families during the birthing process
Maintain a safe, clean, and healing environment for mothers and babies

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum of 1 year recent LDRP or Labor & Delivery experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Must pass an open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation
Valid driver's license (required at submission due to 50-mile radius rule)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in high-stress situations
Proficiency with Alaris IV pumps and electronic medical records
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float to MedSurg if needed (helpful but not required)
