Registered Nurse - LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
Location: Dickinson, North Dakota
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP unit
- Titrate and manage critical drips such as Magnesium, Oxytocin, and pain medications
- Monitor fetal heart tracings using OB Trace Vue system
- Assist with postpartum couplet care and newborn resuscitation if needed
- Collaborate with a close-knit team including charge nurses and providers
- Float to medical-surgical or emergency department for light duty or 1:1 patient sits
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of recent LDRP experience required
- Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Ability to pass fit testing for N95 respirators (no facial hair that interferes)
- Comfortable working independently in a small, rural hospital setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong skills in labor support, postpartum care, and newborn assessment
- Proficient in titrating intravenous medications and managing high-risk deliveries
- Knowledgeable in EFM interpretation and neonatal resuscitation
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Flexible and adaptable to floating and varied patient assignments
