Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate LDRP care to mothers and newborns in a supportive community hospital setting
• Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with a close-knit team of 2-3 RNs per shift while taking patient assignments as charge nurse
• Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips using the OBIX system to support positive birth outcomes
• Float within Zone 1 facilities when needed to support colleagues across the region
• Deliver culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations including those with high BMI, diabetes, and substance use challenges

Qualifications

• Active Colorado or compact nursing license
• Current ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications
• LDRP experience required
• Ability to titrate drips and manage high-risk obstetric patients
• Willingness to participate in rotating call and weekend coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
• Experience with bubble CPAP and basic neonatal respiratory support
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, dedicated team
• Comfort managing patients with complex needs including diabetes and substance use
• Flexibility to float within the regional zone when census allows
