Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM), block scheduling, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including monitoring and supporting through delivery
Manage postpartum care for mothers and newborns, ensuring a smooth transition
Care for routine and intermediate nursery patients, including stabilization and transfer if needed
Titrate drips such as Pitocin, Mag Sulfate, and Insulin as ordered
Serve as charge nurse and coordinate unit activities
Float to other units as a helping hand when census allows
Utilize FE Centricity fetal monitoring system

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for 90-day emergency license
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Strong experience in L&D, postpartum, and nursery care
Ability to work independently and be a reliable backup for teammates
Comfort with drip titration and managing both labor and postpartum patients
Charge nurse experience preferred
