End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery and postpartum patients, including high-risk deliveries
Circulate during C-sections and assist with deliveries
Monitor fetal heart tracings using FetalLink and Cerner EMR
Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and resource nurses
Float to postpartum, NICU (grower/feeders), and L&D as needed
Support new mothers and babies with postpartum care and education

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
Fetal Monitoring certification (AWOHNN intermediate or advanced) required
Minimum 2-3 years of L&D/PP experience
Previous travel contract experience preferred
C-section circulation experience required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and Cerner EMR
Strong ability to handle high-risk OB patients
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bilingual Spanish preferred
Knowledge of AWOHNN guidelines
