Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor high-risk OB patients and manage complex drips including magnesium and insulin
- Circulate and scrub for cesarean sections and other OB procedures
- Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries
- Float within Women's Services to Postpartum and Antepartum units as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact license
- Minimum 1 year of recent travel experience in high-risk OB Labor & Delivery
- Current NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in obstetric emergencies
Knowledge & Skills
- High-risk OB care and fetal monitoring expertise
- Experience with magnesium and insulin drips
- Ability to circulate and scrub in the OR
- Comfortable floating within Women's Services
- Team-oriented with a can-do attitude
