Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in alignment with facility standards
- Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document patient status and interventions clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Advocate for patients and families to ensure quality outcomes and comfort
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania (or compact license if applicable)
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred or as required by unit
- Clinical experience as an RN (prior acute care experience preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and IV therapy
- Proficient documentation in electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices and safety protocols
- Ability to handle fast-paced clinical situations with calm and clarity
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage patients, families, and colleagues
