Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with clinical accuracy and professionalism
• Assess patient condition, monitor vitals, and document changes clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely following physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and aftercare to support recovery
• Respond to emergencies calmly, using sound clinical judgment to prioritize patient safety
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the patient record and communicate handoffs effectively

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Pennsylvania or valid compact RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
• Clinical experience as an RN in acute care or the relevant specialty is a plus
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and accurate charting
• Infection control, safety protocols, and patient advocacy
• Time management, prioritization, and effective interdisciplinary collaboration
