Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 2 days and 1 night per week, 36 hours/week, including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 60

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and identify patient problems and needs using the nursing process
Establish comprehensive care plans for labor and delivery patients
Implement interventions and evaluate patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes
Manage high-risk pregnancies, including preterm labor, hypertension, diabetes, and VBAC
Provide prenatal testing and amniocentesis support
Educate patients and families through childbirth classes and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active New Hampshire RN license or compact license
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / OB experience
Current BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP certifications
Fetal monitoring proficiency required
Previous travel experience highly preferred
Ability to start ASAP pending compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical competence in labor and delivery nursing
Expertise in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Patient assessment and care planning
High-risk pregnancy management
Team collaboration in a critical access facility
