Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0630-1900 and 1830-0700, every third weekend, 1 major and 1 minor holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Circulate in the operating room during C-sections
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery care including high-risk OB
- Perform newborn assessments and routine baby care
- Float to postpartum unit to care for mothers and infants as needed
- Titrate drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
- Monitor EFM using Obix system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents and CRNAs
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Driver's license required to verify 50-mile radius
- Ability to circulate in OR and perform newborn assessments
- Experience with EFM monitoring preferred
