Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Henderson, Nevada
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to laboring, high-risk, and antepartum patients
- Perform vaginal exams and place internal monitors with confidence
- Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
- Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
- Read and interpret fetal monitor strips effectively
- Float to mother-baby unit as needed to support the team
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
- At least 1 year of recent L&D experience
- Independent and confident in a high-risk Level 3 facility
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in vaginal exams and internal monitor placement
- Skilled in high-risk labor and delivery care
- Experience with Cerner EFM system
- Ability to manage multiple drips and titrate accurately
