Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Silverdale, Washington
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Variable 12-hour shifts, block scheduling available, every other weekend (Days: Sat-Sun, Nights: Fri-Sat), holiday rotation with permanent staff
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Independently attend deliveries and manage LDRP patients
- Circulate in cesarean sections and assist with newborn transition
- Titrate drips including magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin
- Provide postpartum care for mother and baby couplets
- Function as a charge nurse occasionally, without patient assignment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (1 year with multiple travel assignments considered)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
- Comfortable attending deliveries alone and assisting in c-sections
Knowledge & Skills
- LDRP experience
- Independent delivery management
- Circulating in c-sections
- Newborn transition and baby catching
- Titration of common OB medications
- Mother-baby couplet care
- Fetal monitoring interpretation
