Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care in Interventional Radiology procedures, including chemoembolization, Y-90, IVC filters, and vascular access
• Assist in neuro endovascular cases and stroke treatments, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Perform and maintain sterile field during Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Monitor patients on telemetry and ventilators, responding to critical changes promptly
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of techs, CT, and nuclear medicine specialists
• Provide compassionate care to both outpatient and inpatient populations, from critical care to telemetry

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of Interventional Radiology or ICU experience with strong IR background
• Level I Trauma experience is a must
• Neuro IR experience required - you'll be handling complex neurovascular cases
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (two attempts allowed)
• Comfortable with SIMs lab pass/fail assessments for Foley and central line skills
• Professional appearance: natural hair color, no facial piercings; men must be clean-shaven for fit test
• Own reliable vehicle for travel to and from assignments

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Foley catheter insertion and sterile field maintenance
• Proficient in central line dressing changes and sterile technique
• Experience with Cerner EMR for seamless documentation
• Strong understanding of Interventional Radiology procedures and patient care
• Ability to manage critical care patients and telemetry monitoring
• Knowledge of body IR and neuro endovascular cases
