Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to adult ICU patients with compassion and precision
• Continuously assess patient status and respond to changes using evidence-based interventions
• Administer medications and complex therapies safely and document treatment accurately
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and the care team to create and follow individualized care plans
• Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize care and support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, and post-discharge care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential — your core requirement
• ICU experience is required; comfort with critical care patient acuity
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) — often required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and provide dependable weekend coverage

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical-care assessment and monitoring skills
• Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficient medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting in an electronic medical record
